" I always wanted to be a thrashing rock and roll guitarist but it just didn't happen that way."

-Beazley Phillips

Michael Beazley Phillips is a singer/songwriter who takes on rock, blues and gospel with the intensity and energy of Jerry Lee Lewis with a voice remenicent of Elton John. He came to Chicago to live and play the blues where he studied under blues pianist Erwin Helfer, played organ with the Southern Appalachian Black Gospel Choir, and several years jamming with blues players across the city. His style is a combination of his idols whom he credits as Billy Joel, Ben Folds, and Page McConnell to the blues pianist like Sunnyland Slim and Brother Montgomery.

Beazley's touring pianos include a Yamaha 70B Acoustic Grand, Yamaha CP300 and a Roland RD700. A Steinway Grand was used for both the Bring the Angels Down and Shooting Ghosts records.

Pete Nocito: Drums, Vocals and Composer.

Pete Nocito is a multi-instrumentalist originally from Philadelphia. His "blazing wit, sexy charm, and penchant for awkward analogies" seemed a perfect fit for the band, the piano trio format gives Pete a great opportunity to indulge in what he calls an "A.D.D. style of drumming" switching from hip-hop or funk to straight on rock and roll beat on a dime. As a singer, drummer, guitarist and songwriter, he is an integral part of the band's sound and energy both live and in the studio.
